SOAR Volunteer - George Pessotti Bio

George's book "Reason For Living" not only helped my nephew who was burned in a fire five years ago on Christmas day, but gave me the courage and hope to continue caring for my nephew through his long recovery. George's book led us to the Phoenix Burn Society where we were granted scholarships to attend World Burn in 2008. World Burn was a life changing experience for both my nephew and myself. It was inspiring to hear how burn victims become burn survivors and carry on with their lives but become better people for what they have endured. What was such a tragedy to our family has made us stronger. I hope to write a book and tell our story when the time is right. Our faith has always endured throughout this long journey and we know God is on our side. God Bless George Pessotti, Pat Horan, the entire team at the Phoenix Burn Society and all burn survivors!
