The Phoenix Society for Burn Survivors is the leading national nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering anyone affected by a burn injury through peer support, education, and advocacy.

Brigham and Women's Hospital SOAR program (a local SOAR chapter)

The Boston Firefighters Burn Foundation was established by firefighters to aid Burn Survivors/Victims and their families.

Facing Forward is a non-profit organization that helps individuals who have congenital or acquired facial or physical differences cope with staring and communicate with confidence, control and courage.



Disability Rights Advocates for Technology, DRAFT, represents people with disabilities who refuse to be defined by their disability and whose passionate enthusiasm for participating in life’s activities is supported by Universal Design and new and emerging technologies. This organization features the "Free Segways for Disabled Veterans Program"







Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities
Burn survivor J.R. Martinez, credits much of his post-military career success to this organization. 

Changing Faces is a UK charity that supports and represents people who have disfigurements of the face or body from any cause.


Sports for the physically challenged. The mission of Northeast Passage is to create an environment where individuals with disabilities can recreate with the same freedom of choice, quality of life, and independence as their non-disabled peers.
