Okay it's me again...so timely for Burn Awareness Week. Please read and share. Thank you Boston Voyager for helping us to spread awareness
The Burn Injury Model Systems and BSONE have teamed up to organize and "woman/man" the following public tables. We have the Sparky The Fire Dog but still need bodies (preferrably 6' or taller but at this point we'll use anybody). We have lots of literature and if you want to join us as a volunteer to talk to people and hand things out here are the locations:

In my dealings with a lot of people concerning different burn organizations, I find that there is quite a bit of confusion. Our organization is Burn Survivors of New England (BSONE). We are a New England based organization whose main mission is to send our constituency (New Englanders :-)) to Phoenix World Burn Congress (PWBC). I had my first of three massages by Kate Peck at Journey to Health and would heartily recommend your participation if you are in the New England area. Kate has a healing touch, a beautiful aura and real concern and compassion for burn survivors. Her ultimate goal is to research the benefits of massage on burn survivors. I believe in alternative forms of relief for pain and discomfort...her research project is another way to advance treatment for burns.
