August 14–15, 2026 | Waltham, MA
The Healing Summit 2026 is a two-day gathering designed to support life beyond survival — a space where burn survivors, loved ones, first responders, and burn care professionals come together to explore what it truly means to heal, grow, and thrive after injury.
Hosted by Burn Survivors of New England, the Healing Summit focuses on the long-term journey of recovery — not only physical healing, but emotional well-being, personal growth, and meaningful connection. This summit is rooted in resilience, shared experience, and the belief that life after a burn can be full, empowered, and connected.
Healing does not end when medical treatment does. The Healing Summit was created to address the ongoing realities burn survivors and their families navigate long after discharge, including:
Rebuilding confidence and identity
Caring for skin and the body over time
Supporting emotional wellness and healthy coping
Connecting with others who truly understand the burn survivor experience
This summit centers growth, empowerment, and community, offering tools, conversations, and relationships that support long-term quality of life.
Check-In: 5:30–7:00 PM
Welcome Gathering: 7:30–9:00 PM
Begin the weekend with a relaxed Welcome Gathering designed to foster connection and ease into the summit experience. Enjoy light food stations, music, and opening remarks from BSONE President Gina Russo. This gathering offers an opportunity to meet fellow attendees, speakers, and community partners in a supportive, informal setting.
A cash bar will be available, and an ATM is located onsite for your convenience.
8:00 AM–5:00 PM
