Volunteer Opportunities at Burn Survivors of New England

Volunteers are the heart of Burn Survivors of New England, helping us provide vital support, resources, and advocacy for the burn community. There are many ways to get involved, and every contribution—big or small—makes a meaningful difference.

Some of the ways our volunteers have helped include:

  • Providing language translation for burn survivors who do not speak English
  • Fundraising Support: Helping organize, set up, or run fundraising events, raffles, or donation drives
  • Assisting with transportation for burn survivors in need
  • Loading and unloading equipment for events throughout the year
  • Participating in volunteer committees to help grow and strengthen our organization
  • Preparing event materials, such as stuffing packets and folding t-shirts
  • Offering peer support assistance, whether through survivor check-ins or helping at support groups
  • Helping with public speaking and advocacy to raise awareness and share survivor experiences
  • Capturing moments through photography and videography at events and gatherings

We are always seeking dedicated volunteers to help expand our reach and impact. If you have skills in outreach, social media, grant research and writing, or other areas that could support our mission, we would love to hear from you. Whether you can help at a single event or want to be involved on an ongoing basis, your time, skills, and compassion make a real difference!  Contact us here to get started!
